Seller's Description:

Vixen 21TD RV - BMW - BARN FIND - TIME CAPSULE - 25k Miles

Used 1986 Vixen 21 Td Bmw for sale in Hannibal Missouri. 1986 Vixen 21 Turbo Diesel - BMW Pusher Motorhome. A true BARN FIND! Only 25,000 miles. One owner. Original title. This Vixen was purchased new from the dealer, owned by one couple in Bowling Green MO. It appears in totally original, super clean condition. It was kept tarped (see pics - you can see marks on drivers side body) in an actual barn. Sitting for nearly 20 years (registration sticker reads 1998). All systems manuals in 3 ring binder. All orig keys. Brand "new"unopened replacement triangle pop up window with Vixen factory shipping label still on it! I have only driven it the 3 miles shown on tripometer and parked it. It drove straight and had lots of power. Starts right up and engine sounds strong. We have done nothing to it. The headliner (main compartment one) had fallen down so we took it down completely. It is complete, in good shape and waiting to be reinstalled. We raised and lowered the pop top manually. It is fine, all windows, and screens intact! (sorry didn't get a pic) Someone had removed the auxiliary (2) batteries prob as they were 30 yrs old! It has new starter battery. The tires are Michelin, prob original, and still in great shape! As you can see from the pics, the upholstery is in mint condition. The bed mattress as well and has original bedspread. I have not cleaned anything, not the outside, nor inside - so you can tell how well it was kept. The owners also had an early '70's Airstream which is so pristine and untouched that it's like stepping back in time. Both Airstream and Vixen were stored in same barn. (No, I do not have the airstream!) As it is a true Barn Find, and has been sitting, unused for 20 years, every system will need to be gone over and checked. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have - but I am a picker - not a mechanic - and I am not familiar with all the complex systems such as this RV is known for. I will be away and traveling June 6 - 13 so will answer questions just as soon as I am not driving and have internet access! I highly recommend joining the Vixen Motorhome site and membership group. Their knowledge and eagerness to assist anyone with a Vixen is amazing. ****Please make travel and pick up arrangements as soon as possible. Nearest large airport is St. Louis. Hannibal is just under 2 hr drive from there. Also - Cape Air flies into Quincy, IL - which is only 20 min drive away and I would be happy to pick you up! I will be away June 29 - July 6th.*******
